    • Film photography tips? I used to shoot film until I was in my teens, but only for terrible holiday snaps, long before I got interested in photography as a hobby. I've been planning to get into SLR film photography for a little while and have some kit (both from the '70s and the early 2000's) ready to play with. However, it's a bit of a new world of things to learn about, especially the mystical art of black and white. My question is, what are your thought on the best film types, processing services and any major pitfalls to avoid before I start down this dark path?I used to shoot film until I was in my teens, but only for terrible holiday snaps, long before I got interested in photography as a hobby.
