An enthusiastic and entertaining session last night from our guest speaker, David Clapp. His lively presentation gave us lots of tips on composition, how to get some passion and emotion into our images and how to get different images from familiar locations and subjects (Familiarity with Originality – as he called it). He told us that pink and blue images sell well (good to know) and encouraged us to think, innovate and move (in 3 dimensions) when things are not working as we would like them to. There was a strong thread of humour throughout his talk; we saw some of his pylon collection and even ‘pigeon poo on his Modern Mistress’ – you’ll have to watch the recording!! He’s also a very accomplished Banjo player – again, you’ll have to watch the recording
