We enjoyed an evening of prints with Andrew showing his ARPS (Associate of the Royal Photographic Society and F (Fellow of the same) panels, together with numerous other smaller panels of recent work. His eye for shape, small detail and a muted colour palette demonstrated his personal style and passion in photography. His A panel on Burano reflections, adopting a small square format, and his F panel on details of Santorini architecture, a pared back approach of simplicity and quiet calm, white on white detail, couldn’t have been visually more different. In his F panel all his images, whether portrait or landscape format were in a portrait orientated mount, giving a unified and coherent look. A relaxed and absorbing evening with a high level of member participation and engagement with Andrew.
