A group of members met on a sunny summer’s evening with, initially at least, a clear blue sky. Although the setting lacked some of the drama we usually seek, we enjoyed taking a few images, and of course each other’s company in the pub afterwards.

A selection of our shots is below.

A sunny scene By Simon Rich

Dave Dummett was people watching, capturing a couple of men who had cycled all the way from London.

Brian Rees was photographer spotting, and left the pub early enough to capture a glorious sunset.

Philip Arthur caught some peaceful scenes.

Joanna Clarke was taking in the detail.

It will come as no surprise that Alan Bastin found some dogs.

And Marija Lees was concentrating on the not so understated seaside attractions.
