A good attendance on zoom for Kathleen Clemons from Maine, who treated us to a masterclass on creative flower portraiture. Kathleen’s love of teaching and passion for photography made for an excellent evening of tips, techniques and joyous images. Through her distinctive style of selective focus, shallow depth of field she aims to show the viewer how she sees the beauty, faded glory, curves and colour in flower portraits using simple set ups in her home or out in the field, often botanical gardens. Kathleen uses macro and Lensbaby lenses to illustrate her art. Kathleen’s friendly manner made for a relaxed evening and members questions demonstrated a high level of interest.
